We just returned from our summer vacation in San Antonio. This year we decided to try out the JW Marriot because we had heard so many good things about this new resort. The resort was fabulous!! It had multiple pool areas, a lazy river, slides, and a neat kid area with little slides. Our room had an amazing view of the hill country!! We enjoyed trying out the restaurants, taking part of resort activities, and of course relaxing at the pool. This was Addison's first time in the pool and she did great!! She loved her little float and people just ranted and raved at her as she road the lazy river stylin' in her cute bathing suit, sunglasses, and sun hat. She took her naps well in her stroller with portable fans blowing on her while the 3 of us played in the pool. This resort had smores and flick n float in the evenings so we saw part of The Princess and the Frog. I got to enjoy my 31st birthday at the resort as well. We had an amazing dinner at the steakhouse on the golf course. Yummy!! Afterwards, we played photographer and got some amazing photos of the kids as well as a family photo (you can check out below). It was a great vacation!! Every year I sit there and day dream about what it will be like the next year with the kid(s). It was neat to have Addison there this year and I can't wait until next year when she can walk and play even more!
