With loving hands, He formed you.
With open arms, He welcomes you.
With everlasting love, He will keep you.
The day of Addison's baptism was a very special day for us. Addison was a very special gift from God that Mark and I prayed daily for. She has been such a blessing to us and we are so fortunate to have her in our lives. Our children are children of God and it is very important to us that we pass on the faith to them and that they be raised in a Christian home.
The baptismal ceremony was beautiful. The catholic baptism ceremony if full of history and tradition (I hope for those of you that have never witnessed a catholic baptism you will have the opportunity someday). Addison was so calm and peaceful throughout the ceremony. We are excited to have our brother and sister as Addison's godparents, for they will help us in guiding her along in her christian faith. Addison was beautiful in her gown. My mother made me that gown 30 years ago. It was so special to have her wear it as well. I had fun picking out a few accessories to go with the outfit. And our family made sure she had plenty of jewels to wear for the ceremony.
We had fun at the reception following the ceremony. We ate great food, enjoyed some fantastic dessert, and enjoyed each others company. Addison was blessed with some wonderful keepsakes.
What a special day.......thanks to all our family who celebrated this joyous day with us!!!
