Festival of Lights

I LOVE finding things to do this time of year to share the spirit of the Christmas season with our son. We started off this year by going to the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens. On Friday nights you get to enjoy the mile long trail of lights plus the Snow Zone. There were all kinds of themes for the light displays and it had music to go along with the themes. Andrew was snug and warm in his wagon as we walked through them. Then we got to the Snow Zone and his eyes lit up. He had fun slipping and sliding on the ice, making snowballs, and of course throwing it at us. Since we don't get snow in Houston it was fun for him. Also, while we were there he got to see Santa Claus and tell him his wish list (which was a bike). After he got off Santa's lap, he innocently asks, "Where's my bike?"

We had a great night as a family!!
