Christmas Day

I had been looking forward to Christmas morning for so long!!! Andrew really got into Santa this year and understood that he was going to come down the chimney and leave him some presents. We finally went in to his room and woke him up at 8am. It took him awhile to wake up. He came out of his room and walked slowly to the living room. He said, "Where's Santa?" We had to explain that he already came to the house and left to go to other children's houses. He then surveyed the gifts under the tree and saw his bike. He jumped on but still didn't give much response. After a few minutes he was smiling and wide awake. We rode the bike up and down the hallway and then moved on to the other gifts. He was then excited to see his new basketball goal. We played inside for awhile (b/c it was so cold outside). He then opened his other gifts like hot wheels, lawn equipment(just like daddy's), some boots, movies, etc. We then bundled up to go outside so he could ride his bike. It didn't last long though.....way to cold!!!!

We had a fun morning together. I found myself imagining what next Christmas would be like with another little one! Can't wait!!!

Later that day we went over to Granna and Grandpa Phillip's house. We had a nice lunch and then the kids were anxious to open gifts. Andrew was excited to get a plasma car (which he plays on at his fav toy story), a wheelbarrow and tools, legos, glow in the dark art kit, etc.
Mom and I had been working on a special project for the boys. Andrew had mentioned earlier in the month that he wanted his daddy to get "woody pajamas" like his. We found some pajama pants and mom sewed buzz and woody fabric onto them. They also got matching boxers with "father like son" and "son like father" with a bowling embroidery pattern on it. So cute!!!
